Spring?!

We went to Molbaks today to get some heather and a shrub. Along the way Signe spotted the silks and created this for the upstairs alcove.

Work

Big news!!! I started my first deck job of the year today. TJ and I tore down an existing deck to make way for a new Monarch Exotics composite deck. When done I will post before and after pictures. It is good to be back to work. Signe and I went and spent a couple of days in Spokane with Neil & Jen. We delivered a new mattress and box spring to them. It was good to see some of our kids again. We are now getting ready for the arrival next week of MOM-TO-BE and Parker. Until next time. Uff da. Dad

20 weeks - half way!

Ok, so I'm just going to make some time for this!

After several requests for pictures, the time has come! I'm sure you're most excited to see pictures of the little one, so I've posted her most recent portraits, from last Tuesday - I thought they were pretty great face shots.

Her face is on the right, and you are looking straight at her, though she is laying on her side:

Pretty cute, huh? At least from what you can tell from black and white relief photos :)

And here is one of her foot:

Ok, so now the pictures of me. Why somebody started the "belly bump shot" trend, I have no idea. I feel so much cuter in person. Maybe its the blue wall washing me out - we'll go with that. Or it could be something about the fact that I just woke up from a nap :) The weird bumps on my stomach are because the shirt is ruched on the sides, so it wrinkles a little...

So there you go! 20 weeks, some baby pics, and some belly pics! Halfway there and she's already moving around in there (I've been able to feel her since about 17 1/2 weeks)!
Parker and I send our hellos!

Reminiscing....

with the excitement and anticipation of having a niece, I've been looking through older pictures of the kids.

Briana - this is what you have to look forward to!

do you remember Hailee being this small? Can you believe she's 7 now????

and I never thought I could handle a thumb sucker - but now that Braden doesn't do it anymore, I miss it!

alright, time for you to post your pictures now, Beej!

Well, I guess I should tell you all about valentines week. Around here it starts on February 10, Signe's birthday. I got up early and made her breakfast. I made her (and Tyler) a great dinner and then gave her her gift, a new blouse. On February 12, she got another hot breakfast. On Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th we attended a marriage conference put on by our church then we went out to a nice dinner at Girardi's Osteria in Edmonds.

Yeh, I made lots of points.

Surprise!

It's a girl! We went to see the ultrasound technician yesterday, and he was able to discern specifically female anatomy, so we're pretty confident we've got a baby girl on our hands. As soon as I can get some time, we'll get some ultrasound pictures and tummy pictures (for Corey :) posted on here.

Love you all and looking forward to seeing any Seattle dwellers in March!

Love Briana (and Parker)

Hello Everyone!

Hello how is everyone doing!? How was your Valentines day?
Today Neil and I started the day with pancakes and relaxed around the house drinking coffee! Later on in the day we went for a walk in one of our favorite areas of spokane. (Pictured on the right) It is one of Neil's favorite places to walk because he loves views!
For dinner we made flank steak with roasted rosemary red potatoes! It was delicious!
Well I hope you guys are doing good and let us know what you guys did for valentines Day!
Love you all!
JJ :)
