Isn't it cute?!? It's an outie. But it might become an innie when she builds up some body fat around it. She doesn't have any right now. At least not right there.And in honor of the umbilical cord-free belly button, her first [non-sponge] bath!
Sigrid says: "Whoa. What's this? I haven't been surrounded by this much warm water in 16 days! I don't know what to think of this."
Sigrid says: "Well, I guess it's ok. I mean, how bad can little soap and water be?"
Sigrid says: "Oh my gosh. I just got a chill. Hey mom, keep that warm water splashing over my belly please! Stop taking pictures and warm me up!"
Sigrid says: "Yes, like that, thank you."And there we have it. Who knew your granddaughter/neice was so verbal at 16 days old!?

she's a talkative one, that Sigrid! lol baths become much more fun once she realizes she likes them! she looks so tiny - my kids were dough babies - hard to believe babies can have roll free legs!
